1744 March 28 (Wednesday). My Wife and I rode to Marlborough. P.M. visited old Mrs. Beeman under her Cancer. Visited Colonel Williams[1] but the Colonel not a[t] home. We were also at Mr. Smiths[2] but were obliged to lodge at Dr. Gotts.
