1780 May 22 (Monday). Mr. Joseph Hardy here with his Relation, which requires many alterations. Esq. Baker, Mr. Batherick and Mr. Joseph Harrington came to me from the Town Meeting, to desire me to go with them to pray with them and give them my Advice, they being assembled upon the very important Affair of the Plan of Government.
