[1]Francis and Abigail Whipple had four children born in Westborough by 1736: Benjamin, b. Apr. 23, 1727; Lucia, b. Jan. 1, 1730; Thomas, b. Oct. 21, 1731; and Abigail Warrin, b. July 6, 1734 (WVR, 105-06). But there is no Westborough record of Jonathan’s birth (see Aug. 22, below), although the Ipswich Vital Records report the death of an unnamed child of Francis Whipple, Oct. 1730.
