Went to Mr. Martyn and his wife, at Mr. Townsends; and we all and a Number more din’d at Mr. Goss’s.[1] Mr. Martyn and his wife in their Chair my Company homeward as far as their House. Found my family safe at Evening. N.B. I understand that Esquire Baker is about buying at Bolton.
