April 14, 1744

1744 April 14 (Saturday).  Fine pleasant Day.  Thomas ploughing up Stubble of the South side.  Mr. Hezekiah Hows Oxen yesterday and to Day.  Ebenezer to Marlborough.  P.M. I rode over to Upton and Mr. Weld came here.  I lodg’d at Captain Hazzletines.[1]

[1]John Hazeltine was a prominent citizen of Upton.
