Called to see Mr. Smith who is in a poor, dull and sorrowfull Condition. Came home in safety. Thanks to God who has protected and preserved both me and mine! But Mrs. P________ has been poorly and had a fever. Hannah also is laid by with the like Disorder. My Son Cushing came — lodged here.
