Mr. Moore discovers the horrible Deceit in the Horse-keeping at Millikens, and brings a sample of the Hay which our Horses live upon, and shews is to my Brother who is astonished at it. We attempt to come home, but the Horse proves very dull, according to his Keeping. We drag along — dine at Mr. Woodwards — called at Dr. Roby’s and at Mr. Bridge’s. Tea at Cyprian Hows. We arrive safely, through divine Goodness. Mr. Moore lodges here.
