My own Boys are employed about my Corn and have the Assistance of one of Mr. Rice’s Twins: thus, Alexander goes over in the morning and with Mr. Rice’s Oxen and Mr. Pratts Cart, assisted by Joseph Rice (or rather the Twin with his) my part of Crop of Corn is brought over and laid upon my House; and after Dinner they go to my Cook Field, and cutt up and bring home part of that.
