1750 February 6 (Tuesday). I visited Mr. Martyn[1] — found him confin’d by his taking Physic. Din’d with Mrs. Martyn — return’d before sunsett. Mr. Francis Whipple and his wife made us a Visit. Master Manning at Eve and lodg’d here. N.B. he finish’d school keeping.
