1739 June 23 (Saturday). Call’d away early in the Morning to visit Mr. Cornelius Biglo’s Child which dy’d p.m.[1] Mr. Tainter and one Son and Mr. James Millers son[2] came and Hoed a Considerable part of my Field. Very Hot. I was at Abner Newtons[3] and hit [?] of some Veal which was very agreeable on account of my Friends of New Haven who were still at my House.
