Though I have a great esteem of Mrs. Martyn and her Daughter, and am much obliged to them for their friendly visit, especially as they were willing to undergo the hardship of the Cold, it being a sharp Air; Yet I was Much less capable of receiving the Comfort and Pleasure of their visit to Day, because I wanted the Time in my Study.
