1759 March 14 (Wednesday). The Morning was very stormy. Snowed and blowed, so that I Soon gave up all Thoughts of going to the Funeral of Brother Baldwin. Neither could I so much as go to Southborough where I had designed before I received the Letter from my son Baldwin. When it ceased snowing I rode up to Mr. Zebulun Rice’s, Several of his Children having the Meazles. N.B. This afternoon a Vendue of the late Mr. John Rogers’s Place — to be at Mr. Bruce’s.
