1749 December 25 (Monday). At the Funerall of Mr. Pratts Child — carry’d Lucy, Billy and Sarah in the Slay. Lieutenant Bruce[1] was here about the Stables which Several of them had join’d to raise at the Meeting House and had done it last Friday, on the Land which I am buying of Lieutenant Brigham of Southborough.
