1747 November 1 (Sunday). I deliver’d the whole of my Preparation in the forenoon that the Congregation might have at one View what I could think further proper from Mat. 24.46 and on occasion of beginning a New Year of Sabbaths and Gospel Privileges. May the Lord impress especially my own Heart herewith and not only make me a faithful and wise servant but enable me to continue and persevere to the Coming of the Lord that I may be among those Servants who shall be truely Blessed!
