1740 February 18 (Monday).  Visited Ensign Maynard.  David, Samuel and Ezekiel getting Posts.  P.M. Cold.  At Eve Stephen Fay[1] came to desire me to visit his Mother, but I was too much indispos’d to venture out in So Searching an Air.
