He assures me his wife and he are well reconcil’d, and he promises to walk orderly and soberly as becomes a Christian. P.M. after the Exercises, immediately before giving the Blessing, I read Mr. Goodenows Petition for a Contribution. I desir’d the Deacons of the Church and the Committee of the Parish to meet at my House tomorrow Eve, that I may have their Thoughts about it.
