1744 August 9 (Thursday). My Kinsman Needham[1] with his Wife from Norwich and they carry away their son Thomas with them. N.B. I gave him everything that he carry’d away with him, except his Coat which Mr. Needham agrees to pay me for. P.M. Mrs. Eager and her Sister Mrs. Patty Ward rode here in their Chair to make us a Visit. Many Interruptions by Company almost from Morning till night.
