In 1752, Great Britain and the American colonies switched from the Julian Calendar to the Gregorian Calendar, which we use today in a slightly updated form.

1778 October 18 (Sunday). Preached again on Ps. 92.7, and May God give a Blessing! P.M. Repeat with Corrections and Additions Sermon on Prov. 10.20.21, which I hope may be seasonable and by Gods Grace successful.
