Old Mr. Nathaniel Whitney came [in?] to warm himself and after some friendly Communication and Serious Refections on the Times and the Causes of our Calamities, he said the Affairs of the Church were as bad as those of the State upon which [there?] followed many uncomfortable and grievous [Contradictions?], in which he manifested strong Prejudices, groundless Jealousies, and a very bitter spirit.
