1773 August 6 (Friday). My Daughter is Somewhat better yesterday and to Day. Mr. Cushing acquaints me that he had paid my Rate and Charges at Ashby and took a Receipt of it from the Collector, old Tenor 38/9. This I paid him and besides this I lent him 3 Dollars but gave him two Bushels of Indian Corn which he has received from me Some time agoe.
