1773 February 3 (Wednesday). Visit my Neighbour Newton under Trouble by the illness and Languishment of their youngest Child. Discoursed with them upon their Affliction and of Sin the Cause of it — of their living in the neglect of their Duty. Prayed with them. N.B. Mr. Jotham Maynard there.
