1751 August 17 (Saturday). I lodg’d at the New House. My Family here and Molly, Suse and Alexander. A very fine clear Day. Ebenezer in the Morning brought over another Barell of Cyder, and Severall Boxes of Books and Pamphletts. Mr. Samuel Harrington and Mr. Phinehas Hardy brought each of them an heavy Load of Large Flatt Stones from Mr. Harringtons Quarry, for my Hearths and passage to the Well, etc., both which were gratis.
