Lieutenant Holloway very hot. We rode to Cambridge. Our Mare in the Chaise got away from Sister Barretts and ran over to Father Champneys. Broke one of the Thills and clear’d herself of her Tackling. But I found her again, and Deacon Whittemore[1] Sent over my wife and son in his Chaise to prevent further trouble.
