Mrs. H________ under almost utter Discouragement respecting my proposals to her, and Several Times about to put an entire Period to all our Conversation upon those Articles. Nevertheless I prevailed with her to let matter lye still for more Mature Consideration. I parted late p.m. Rode up to Mr. Zechary Maynards and thence Home. David about my Cyder one Day after another.
